Part of my new years' resolution for 2020 was to be more mindful and to be in the present. Working out and being active is something that always helps me find my center and get to that place. For this reason, I try to incorporate some sort of movement into my every day.
My friend, Laura Breen Escott, owns Meraki Studio in Pittsburgh's iconic Strip District. Meraki is a one-of-a-kind studio where Laura has established fitness methods and classes to enhance the mind-body connection through movement, strength, and peace. Laura will be joining me on Instagram Live this Wednesday for a split-screen conversation, asking questions, and talking about Lex & Lynne.
With the last month and a half leading to a lot of unknown and having to temporarily close my store ~ along with temporary closures for many businesses ~ I wasn’t sure how working out + cardio would consistently work into my routine. I love a little yoga on my own and going for a run now and then, but I’m talking a full body work out with an in-class mentality. While I’m always a little nervous to jump into a class, I love it when I do; and it’s not all the time, but a variety of classes a few times a week really makes me feel stronger.
When the temporary store and studio closures began, owner and founder Laura Breen Escott immediately started up IG Live classes and Vimeo classes. Laura made all sorts of movement available, including barre, pilates, bounce, and so much more.
Laura offers a variety of classes including Pilates, BareAmped, Rebounding, Sculpting, + and her Digital Studio was recently launched! Now you can bring Meraki home with you ~ I love this! Her Bounce Strengthen Tone class is my favorite, I always leave feeling refreshed and invigorated.
